Tours are given on Tuesday and Thursday on the half hour, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Tours are limited to four persons, minimum age 14 years, and must be arranged in advance by telephoning (806) 374-5490. There is no charge for admission.

Tours last approximately 50 minutes and include three floors of the home. Two trained volunteers conduct each tour. Visitors may stroll at leisure in the garden.

Changing exhibits:

• Vintage gowns and dresses of Mrs. Harrington from the 1930's to the 1970's are displayed with exhibits changing four times each year. Mrs. Harrington was voted a member of the 1988-89 International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame.
• Table settings designed by Mrs. Harrington are changed seasonally. The finest in porcelain, crystal, silver, and linens are featured.

• Visitors are asked to arrive five minutes prior to their scheduled tour.
• Visitors must wear low, broad-heeled shoes and must check packages, purses, coats, and cameras in available lockers.
• Smoking and consumption of food and beverages are prohibited on the premises.
• Harrington House is not handicapped accessible. Canes, walkers, or crutches may not be used.
