The Connoisseur Lecture Series is an extension of the regular tour program and of Mrs. Harrington's desire to enlighten the public on the decorative arts and fine arts of Harrington House. The Series features one of the Harringtons' collections each year, such as silver, crystal, art, porcelain, or Mrs. Harrington's clothing.

Lectures are offered on the first Thursday of each month, May through October, at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Regular tours are not offered on those Tuesdays. The lecture topic for each year will be announced in April.

Lectures are by appointment only and last approximately 50 minutes. Reservations must be made in advance by telephoning (806) 374-5490. A maximum of 10 visitors may be accommodated each hour, and visitors must be 14 years of age or older.

Please note:

• Visitors are asked to arrive five minutes prior to their scheduled lecture.
• Visitors must wear low, broad-heeled shoes and must check packages, purses, coats, and cameras in available lockers.
• Smoking and consumption of food and beverages are prohibited on the premises.
• Harrington House is not handicapped accessible. Canes, walkers, or crutches may not be used.
